The NOMAD Incident Command Platform™ is a man-portable, battery powered, command, control, communications and computer (C4) network platform. Easily deployed by a single user to create an independent self-configuring, standards-based, non-line-of-sight, wireless network with a coverage radius of up to 7 miles (configuration and terrain dependent) the NOMAD provides users with the ability to make a phone call, hold a video teleconference, access remote data and to take command of a challenging situation, even in hostile or remote environments when infrastructure no longer exists.

If power is out, cell service has been interrupted and phone lines are down, simply power on the NOMAD, quickly establish satellite connectivity and in less than four minutes access critical support data and personnel at broadband speeds.

With integrated mobile mesh technology the NOMAD Incident Command Platform™ has the ability to instantly create a self-healing, ad-hoc mesh network capable of supporting hundreds of clients over vast geographic areas spanning incident specific locations, entire cities and even state wide. With an embedded quad-radio system the NOMAD acts as an interoperable gateway / switch simultaneously supporting deployed 2.4 GHz (802.11b/g), 5.8 GHz and 4.9 GHz devices.

NOMAD may be upgraded in order to simultaneously support any analog or digital two-way radio system — including UHF, VHF, TETRA, iDEN, SELCAL, GSTAR, and P25.

With integrated EVDO Cellular (800-900Mhz, 1800-1900Mhz) routing capabilities, an embedded Inmarsat’s BGAN Satellite terminal for redundant network backhaul and a patent pending 14 to 24 hour rechargeable power supply which leverages the latest military battery technology (BB-2590/U), the NOMAD platform ensures that demanding mobile users, first responders and military personnel ALWAYS have real-time access to communications and mission critical data WHENEVER and WHEREVER needed.

The NOMAD® Incident Command Platform contains many unique features including but not limited to:

• Rugged mil-std construction and components

• Integrated rechargeable power supply which leverages MIL-STD BB-2590/U batteries for 14 to 24 hours of mission support on a single charge

• Compact fold-out design for rapid deployment of incident command capabilities

• Integrated VoIP (Voice over IP) and VTC (Video Teleconferencing)

• Digital Print, Fax and Copy capabilities
