Resource Management Software

CoBRA® Incident Command Software

CoBRA® emergency response software—designed by first responders for first responders—provides critical decision-support tools and resources required to effectively prepare for and respond to all hazard incidents. CoBRA is DHS SAFETY ACT “Certified” as a qualified anti-terrorism technology.

CoBRA software supports National Standards such as National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command Structure (ICS), enhancing the ability to establish an incident command structure quickly; yet is easily customized to include your own local procedures and checklists.

CoBRA software helps the first responder; identify the hazard, isolate the area & deny entry by providing standoff distances. CoBRA adds additional layer of protection, ensuring the responder is following proper procedures and does not have to rely solely on memory. CoBRA will help responders decide if they are to deal with the situation immediately or wait for additional resources and capabilities to arrive.

The CoBRA software is a simple Incident Command Software application that sits on the workstation within the NOMAD and provides critical resources and capabilities needed during any incident response and facilitates the coordination between fire, hazmat, law enforcement, emergency medical, bomb response and other public safety personnel.

The NOMAD platform with CoBRA software supports first responders by acting as a force multiplier, providing the individual responder a wealth of resources at his or her fingertips. The proposed solution provides a central repository of data and interactive tools that must normally be collected from multiple sources such as websites, books, manuals, binders and clipboards.

Xentrak Resource Management

Xentrak, the MSPX collaborative resource management tool extends the power of NOMAD and CoBRA providing data availability and also “data” interoperability when multiple NOMAD kits function together. In accordance with NIMS resource typing, consumable and returnable resources, including volunteers and donations, can be itemized and tracked creating applications for NOMAD across a jurisdiction thereby providing additional value from the CEDAP grant funds and further meeting the requirement that the equipment provided through the CEDAP program improves the working relationships between first responders for resource sharing, joint training, and effective resources and joint operational planning thereby maximizing the value of federal funds invested in homeland defense and security.

VantagePoint Component GIX™

The VantagePoint application from Fortified Data Communications, Inc. further enhances recoverability by providing first responders with a geospatial perspective. VantagePoint is a high performance, feature-rich GIS desktop viewer and analysis tool that can connect to over a hundred different file formats including OGC Services and Spatial Databases. It allows a user to create, connect to data, style, re-project, analyze, export, and share maps and data. It allows users to integrate, customize and extend the powerful GIS capabilities of VantagePoint through its plug-in architecture and the Component GIX SDK.

The proposed solution provides a central repository of data and interactive tools that must normally be collected from multiple sources such as websites, books, manuals, binders and clipboards. With geospatial mapping, Video Teleconferencing, Voice over IP, Internet chat, shared print service and email capabilities the NOMAD systems improve the ability to respond to those in need at time of crisis by providing quick access to mission critical data and the ability to communicate that data to large groups of responders over vast geographic areas. The NOMAD is a turn-key solution that comes ready to use right out of the box without any further needed development, integration or effort.
